Why do we never fail to remember the lesson of the tortoise and the hare? This is the art of a fable: The delivery of truth that can never fail to be true, in a story that delights at all ages and at all times.

Join Tutorium for a morning exploring the ancient form of fables, from Aesop to La Fontaine. We will approach our theme from many places: as stories to be learned and loved, memorised and re-enacted, in English and the Latin language, and as inspirations for great musical compositions. No prior experience of Latin required.

For whom: 5–8 year olds. Places are capped at 15 children per class. N.B. Due to enrolment numbers we will not be running the 9-12 y.o. class this time.
